Replacing Thermostatic shower?

I have a sirrus shower that needs replacing now.
Can someone recommend a replacement?I was thinking of Mira Atom.
Are the width/size of the hot and cold pipes/valve same,
Is it simple as unscrewing the old and replacing with new?
Any tips much appreciated

If only it was so easy !, well it can be if the shower valve is of the surface mounted type as opposed to concealed , if so the hot is nearly always on the right and the pipes 150mm apart , mira is a good choice
