This is what happens when the rubber diaphram gets a rip in it. Vacuum wont open valve. Compressor surge. I was able to repair the bov using a bike innertube. EASY and FREE.

I will post a video of the greddy rs bov repaired.

This anti-surge valve helps a centrifugal compressor avoid surging, and is designed to open up very quickly when needed. It is a Fisher globe-style control valve, equipped with a special venting relay to rapidly dump diaphragm pressure to atmosphere when needed so the valve’s internal spring can work to open it and bypass gas flow.
