, i explain my problem and all of the above mentioned, the lady say’s, hold on while she ask’s someone, she came back, and told me a leak don’t give no fault codes and a diverter valve don’t leak, it will malfunction and give a code but won’t leak, and it can’t be the motor control module because that won’t cause a leak, theres only one thing it can be, the drain pump, even though it is working, it is also leaking, which they are out of stock on. But she gave me the part number #420325P

but, i wasn’t getting an out of balance anyways, in fact, i am not getting any faults. so i checked the diverter valve, no clogs, and everything appears ok, except this small leak in rinse cycle, when pump turns on, so went back to check pump again, seems ok. ran a full wash load and let it do it’s thing and just observe every detail, there is definitely a leak and it appears to be coming from the diverter valve area. so i call1-888-936-7872 on a Sunday night, woohoo someone answers,

Thank you for posting that video, it was very informative. I have a GWL15 Fisher & Paykel washer, Phase 7, that has a leak during the rinse cycle. I watched your video and located the service summary, went thru Diagnostic Modes with no Fault lights, all blank. so tried some checks and heard Drain pump turn on/off test and checked the out of balance switch, come to find out it has no switch on my model, it is a sensor now

Thank you for posting this!. It was very helpful. I had no clue the manual was there. Our problem turned out to be the out of balance switch which we had already replaced 2 years ago for $300!! However, with the help of your video and another website, we were able to locate it and see that the connecting wires had corroded due to laundry detergent that was spilled. We cleaned the corrosion with alcohol and we are good to go. Works perfectly again!

This series of videos just saved us $500+ and our holiday time sanity! (Note the date. We are to hit the road soon and thank goodness we’ll be doing that with clean clothes.) Watch these videos closely. I had a similar problem. In my case a rag got caught in the pipe near the pump. If you see the fan underneath isn’t spinning, that’s likely the problem. I might have figured this one out on my own, but these videos really set you going in the right direction.

“Paykel” is pronunced “Pike kool”. The Paykels are a well known family here in New Zealand.
