Hello, I was wondering if the stock rockers, In my case LS1 Camaro can be modified to hold open the Valves, kinda like 1:85, with washers or taller hardened pushrods or however. Looking to get a bit more cam so to speak, If not i’ll just buy Crane Gold series. My Issue Is that 50% people say more rocker, pretending its a wanna be cam they didnt feel other then its very quiet, thus helping knock retard, 50% said they felt it. Thanks

The life of a rocker is pure hell. The heat, pressure, and vibrations makes one wonder how they last 100,000 miles. If they are 1.5 ratio stock, GM makes 1.6 ratios. It’s about the biggest change you can make without replacing springs. If not, stick to proven systems.
Realize taller rockers open valves earlier and close later, which could gain upper end HP, but loses low end torque.

crane toilet,flush valve seal,It’s a flapper with a 4 inch ring with a 1 inch hole in the middle,It fits a crane super flush toilet,the 4 inch rubber washer is distorted with hard water and lets water run into bowl,I’ve checkedseveral places,no luck,HELP

I have a 89 s-10 blazer with a 350 bore 30 over edelbrock performer rpm intake holley 750 carb a crane cams cam not sure of duration and lift just know it has to have atleast an 1850 stall converter which is in it a 700r4 transmission an accel supercoil ignition system no box just coil distribuiter wires and plugs and the head are off a high output 305 they have double vavle springs pinned and gurrdled the biggest Valves i could fit were 2.00intake and 1.88 exhaust so how much rear wheel horse power do you think im making and what compression ratio i have beat a few cobra mustangs on the streer?

Wow, you used alot of name brand stuff. It would be impossible to tell you how much rear wheel horse power you have as that matters not only on engine and tranny, but the rear end ratio. Now im not certain what the guy ahead of me was thinkin, but it’s probly not boku horsepower. Ive seen similar engines only dyno 400. Unfortunately, you want a true number, go to the dyno man!. Asides from that, anyones guess is as good as yours.
