what do you tighten the valve lifters on an 87 lincoln town car to?

the book ive been using deosnt contain the information on what the proper torque for the lifters are, the lifter’s on it are non adjustleble but i dont want to overtighten it and bend the pushrods and if i undertighten them the Valves wont open enough so the car will run rough can anybody help me with this?

There are torque specs available in a shop manual, but 35 to 40 ft lbs would be about right. I never use a torque wrench on those, just get them tight. Overtight will not bend pushrods, it will break the bolts!
